Located on the banks of Bay of Bengal, the city is considered as a fast growing city of Tamil Nadu. Cuddalore means 'Sea Town' in Tamil. This place is a well known ourist spots and marked it for its scenic beaches and ancient temples, dense green forests and forts. The Gedilam River flows through this city. This place has a historical ignificant as it was ruled by Dutch, followed by Portugal, France and later Britain. Cuddalore has two railway stations and bus services are quite available that connects this place with the surroundings cities. This place belongs to sub tropical climate. The ruling dynasties had left their great impact on the culture and art of this place which contributes this unique Dravidian culture. In short, the culture of Tamil Nadu is vibrant with its colorful dance costumes and religious rituals. The Tamil cuisine is known as authentic south Indian cuisine that adds a spiciness to its chromatic culture. Bharatnatyam is a traditional, classical dance form with grace, purity, tenderness, and sculpturesque poses are originated from Tamil Nadu and prominently exhibit its rich culture.
