The spirit of Christmas is in the air and we are looking forward to meeting friends and family, planning dinners, Christmas trees, buying gifts and decorating our homes. One of the most happening places to be at this time is, “Christmas Town”.A lot of special Christmas events will happen in December 2012. It’s a creation by one of the most popular water parks, Busch Gardens and is located in Williamsburg Virginia. For the next few days from November 26th to December 31st. 2012 on select days, the park will be one Christmas paradise, transformed into one dazzling town with lights, decorations, Christmas trees and everything you can imagine that can make it perfect, packaged with fun activities from shows to rides to shopping to food. Here’s everything that you can do with your family:
Decorations: The best part about Christmas is the decoration, and it becomes unique with beautified pathways, lighting covering every nook and corner, 1500 Christmas trees decorated with 20,000 ornaments and the buzzing sounds of excitement and joys cherishing Christmas feeling fills up the environment. Just come and participate in Traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony at The Park Shows: Christmas Town has really created some great shows to sway you, thrill you and excite you on with lots of Christmas stories, music and dancing. One among many is the show named; “Deck the Hall”, featuring live traditional Christmas musical that lets you swing freely to their tunes. Dancing and singing is what their shows let you enjoy in many themes they have created. For kids, “A Sesame Street Christmas” will be one memory to stay forever with Abby Cadabby cookies, stocking and dancing. Rides: What do you think of when wanting to spend a perfect Christmas holiday? Some exciting rides will certainly do justice! These are some exciting rides other than the usual ones when you go out for fairs. Ride a steam-powered locomotive at “Caribou Train Station” that takes you around 200 acres of beautiful landscape. A 3-D visual ride at “Curse of DarKastle” will take your breath away. Imagine some crazy fun with the bumper car fun at “Der Autobahn” or swing up in the air at “Der Wirbelwind”. Your family fun will be complete with a five-minute ride at high tech simulator taking you into Europe going through major landmarks crossing terrains and seas. Now this is really thrilling to get best views of the Christmas Town up at 80 feet in the air. With all the rides expect to get thrilled, swing, jump, gaze stars and let your self be soaked in Christmas fun. Attractions: Along with the shows and rides there are some parallel attractions that you cannot afford to miss especially if you are with the family. “Polar Pathway”, has live penguins fluttering their feet in snow. Let your Christmas story be heard at “Santa’s Fireside Feast” that features classic Christmas stories by Santa and feast prepared by Elves. And do not miss pictures with Santa. Shopping: This is what completes Christmas. Find small treasures in art works of local artisans, or special ornaments or decorations from number of gift shops and market place spread through the Park. Dinning: How could there not be what we love the most, the food? From Coffee to Wine to Pizza to Cake to Sandwich to Confectionary you will find many restaurants and cafes scattered in the park. Christmas, we all know, is the season for sharing and caring.
