Courses Offered at GIM, Goa Goa Institute of Management is an autonomous college that offers AICTE approved management courses. • Post Graduate Diploma in Management: GIM’s flagship course, PGDM is of two year duration and comprises a core course of 71 credits and elective courses of 48 credits. • Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management: This course is meant for working professionals. This weekend programme is also of two years duration and the classes are held on the campus itself. • PGDM-HCM: The institute has recently introduced a MBA programme in Health care management. The course has been designed by leading healthcare industry professionals and academicians Eligibility for admission The college has an approximate intake of 240 students in its flagship course. This number is going to increase with the introduction of the new PGDM programme in Health care management. A minimum of 50 percent marks are required in graduation for being eligible for admission. Further, those who are looking to get the much coveted seat in this college are required to appear in the XLRI Admission Test (XAT) or CMAT (Combined Management Admission Test) conducted by AICTE. The college awards Sir Ratan Tata scholarship to exclusively girl students, funded from Sir Ratan Tata trust. The merit scholarships value around Rs.6, 00,000 each.
