If you are like me, than it has more than likely crossed your mind at some point. There you are, waiting in line to get into some bar, dance club or club in the city. There are a couple of doormen there deciding who gets in and exactly when. Sometimes you have to wait on line for only a few minutes, and other times it seems like hours. Through having some Houston entertainment chat with my friends and people online, I have come up with four reasons exactly why a nightclub will choose to let you in that night. 1. You look the part – There are certain nightclubs that are looking for a certain type of clientele. Whether it is a certain way that a person is dressed or the way a person looks I couldn’t say for certain, but this does happen. Watch the way the doormen look the crowd over to see who is there. Sometimes you will even see someone else with a headset outset checking out the line and pulling people out and telling them to go in. 2. You’re with a hot girl – I hate to say it that way, but it’s absolutely true. The clubs want pretty girls in there because it makes them look better. If you are lucky enough to have a hot girlfriend or even a hot cousin who is willing to do you a favor just so you can get in, you can give this a try and see if it works. 3. They need people to fill the crowd – Okay, this may be the best reason of all for you to get in someplace that is somewhat exclusive, but who cares, at least you are getting in the door. Sometimes they just need people to help fill up the space so it looks like there are a lot of people at the venue. Take what you can get and be glad they let you in. 4. You know someone on the inside – it never hurts to make friends with the owner, a bartender, waitress, DJ or whoever you might need to help you get into a place like this. Hopefully you are being sincere and are actually friends with the person who helped you to get in. If you are only using them for entry into the place, make the best of your one chance in through the golden gates, because you may not get it again. Whatever reason it is that you can get into an exclusive club, hopefully it lives up to all your expectations. Most people who do get in, based on what have seen in Houston entertainment chat rooms, say it’s worth all the effort that you have to put in and the wait that you need to put up with.
