Apple has given us some boundary-pushing consumer technology in recent years. They took the MP3 player concept and made it their own with the iPod. They revived the niche product that was the graphics tablet and made it the must-have gadget of 2012. The California-based firm has started filling in gaps between iPhone-sized smart-phones and iPads with the iPad mini – probably a very wise move when you consider the larger-screened phones coming out the HTC and Samsung camps lately. But what comes next? Shall we see something akin to what Amazon did with the kindle when they brought out a large DX version? Is it time Apple brought out an iPad Maxi? What would you like to see next? Personally I was shocked to see that the 17” MacBook Pro option had been axed in this latest generation of machines. The move caused quite a stir in the online community as evidenced by chat room and discussion thread around the time of the product line re-launch. Some users even threatened to go back to PC over it so there’s no room for complacency. Or maybe you’d just wish they would let you have your gadget in any colour other than black or white. They can do it for the iPods so why not for all the other stuff? Whatever they do next though, the world will be watching and eagerly waiting. More Apple-related Comment
