Random conversations can lead to something unique and interesting. I have been enlightened during such tête-à-têtes. I had met my old marketing professor and our discussion steered towards the topic of network marketing. I had many myths about this industry, which were cleared after this chat. He also gave the example of famous cricketer, Murlidharan being a sponsor of this company. This network marketing organisation was even awarded the prestigious caring company recognition by Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The impressive point here is that this award had been conferred on them for three years in a row. He further highlighted the growth of the company through the effective utilisation of the mobile phone market. They came up with a creative idea like m-commerce business applications for leading service providers. The thought was that Independent Representatives could use this application to increase the reach of their business and carve a path towards their success. It was a very interesting discussion. I was amazed to know about this company and its range of products spread across different categories. In spite of all the fake rumours, the company has established its legitimacy. In fact, its reputation is so strong, that youth have signed up to be Independent Representatives in this company. They are definitely happy to oblige. The company’s prestigious officials have become role models for the younger generation. I enjoyed my discussion with my professor, because I learnt something exciting about this network marketing company. I never realized that a company could rise to such great heights. They continue to spread smiles and erase all the reasons for a frown. I have taken inspiration from my professor and have decided to venture into this field. It is a great start for a promising career in this profession.
