The process of upcycling refers to the converting of discarded and disposable materials into new products or materials for better environment value. Many of us are hard pressed for time as we rush through our daily activities. It is a good idea to try and sit back at times to know if we are leading lives that we enjoy or just move from one day to another taking life as it comes. You could make a quilt and every time you looked at it, you would be transported back in time and recall fond memories. Be inventive and stain or tea-dye some portions of the material to give it a new look! Are you a collector of pressed leaves and flowers? Use them on old CDs or make an interesting art creation using them with bits of other materials such as pebbles and marbles. Let your imagination flow when you decide to use discarded materials and come up with something original.
