Caitlin O’Hara has worked as a sports coach and she is skilled in providing coaching for a wide range of sports. She specializes in coaching and playing indoor and beach volleyball. As a fitness instructor, she focuses on kickboxing and martial arts as her primary disciplines and teaches her students how to be fit and active by regularly practicing martial arts. She believes that physical activity should be a major part of our life and these days many children are not giving as much attention to physical activity as they should. She mentions that any kind of physical activity like sports and athletics can go a long way in ensuring a healthy body and a relaxed mind. Playing sports and exercising also release endorphins in body which make a person feel happy and contended. She also says that students who are active in sports also do well at studies as sports help them in channeling their energies in the right direction. Along with all these benefits, she mentions that playing sports can help one in realizing one’s potential and it can go a long way in helping a student get scholarships and much more. While she was an athlete in high school, Caitlin O’Hara started on the varsity volleyball team and received several awards in local as well as national papers. Before she graduated, she was on the elite travel volleyball club, First Alliance, where they received 2nd place in the International Junior Olympics 2004 and placed in top ten in 2005 Olympics. After she graduated, she accepted a full scholarship to Northern Michigan University to begin her collegiate career. She transferred to Elmhurst College in 2007 and continued to receive several awards and scholarships till her graduation in 2010. She also received NCAA-CCIW conference “Player of the Week” awards throughout 2008 and 2009. She was an All-American collegiate Volleyball Athlete and All-Academic Athlete, too. Along with sports, Caitlin also focused on her studies, and graduated with a Double Major in Marketing and International Business, with Double Minor Focus on Finance and Economics. She was also an active member in the American Marketing Association. She went on to join Morgan Stanley: Private Financial Group as a Marketing Intern. She later joined CDW as an Account Manager and after some time, she worked at Target Corporation as an Executive Team Lead.
