The pretty town also boasts the biggest sheltered shopping promenades in Europe with 6km of mall. The town has many museums, specialty shops, bars, eateries and cabaret stages to keep any visitors entertained and bewitched. Geneva Found in the beautiful spot where the Stream Rhone leaves Lake Geneva the world town of Geneva has striking views of the lakes and close by Alps. One of the most world towns in Switzerland, Geneva has lots on offer with lots of parks, quaysides, lakeside promenades, cafeterias, cafes and wonderful shops, and concert halls who play host to a few of the best artists globally. One of the most famed landmarks in the town is the Jet d'eau one of the biggest fountains on the planet. Lausanne Found at the opposite end of the Lake to Geneva, Lausanne has awesome views of the lake and the Alps which rise up on the opposing shore. One of the well-liked town's most noted landmarks is the cathedral which is perceived as Switzerland's best example of Gothic design. Zurich Zurich is the biggest town in Switzerland and is commonly referred to as the cultural capital of the country. The colourful and chic town has a treasure house of cultural pleasures on offer. There are countless museums, studios, theatres, bars, bistros and the best nightlife in Switzerland. It's not only the clubs that offer entertainment in the nights, plenty of the open spaces of the town are transformed during the night as great spots to dance. Zurich is also well knows for it shopping, many of the planet leading fashion homes have specialized shops in the town as well as many of the best home grown designers the country has to supply, there are naturally many great watch makers to be found in the town too.
