This particular pattern can be easily distinguished, as it consists of two blocks down and two blocks across. The blocks are made of materials that are compatible both in texture and color. After the blocks are sewn in four block patches, each patch is then sewn together to make a single unit. This unit is then placed over a layer of quilt batting and a layer of muslin backing.
