I am one of those people who has two computers in my household that use totally different operating systems. I know there must be a lot of us, but for some reason, I cannot seem to find anyone else who is not exclusively dedicated to one brand or the other. I have an Apple Mac Book, and I also have a Hewlett Packard laptop. I use them both regularly and for different purposes, but sometimes I need to work between the two of them and they are not always compatible. I am always on the lookout for ways to make them more compatible. I love both of them for different reasons, and am not willing to switch to either an all Windows household or an all Apples program. A WMV player for mac is a device that is used to play different types of files on your Apple brand devices. Any Apple fan knows that as much as they love their brand, sometimes it can be a pain when certain programs or file types do not work on them. I am told that the wmv player mac will allow you to do just what I want to do….go back and forth between operating systems. Apple products do not work with Microsoft Word, or with Adobe Flash. I keep thinking that perhaps one or the other of these companies will include software that will allow each other’s operating systems to work on the opposite computers, but I guess it really doesn't make sense to feed the competition. So in the meantime, I will continue to look for products like the wmv player for mac that makes this job easier for me. I am hoping that I can use this program to help me convert videos from one operating system to another. I really do not know that much about the program, but one of my goals is that I can post videos on Youtube that I have recorded on one or the other programs. Another thing that I am looking for a higher level of compatibility on is a word program. I currently use Microsoft Office suite for the most part, but would love to be able to start a document on my HP and pick it up later on my Macbook. Anyways, the videos are my main goal. I have some family movies that I have recorded in different formats. For some of them, I used my iPad to record the videos. For others, I used my JVC digital camcorder. What I would really love to do is to find a way to combine the videos that I have taken on each of these devices. Ultimately, I would like to create one video file, with footage from both devices. I would also like to do some editing and possibly add some soundtrack to these videos. Eventually, I would like to make all of these videos available for family members and friends to view in an easy format that works for all of them regardless of their brand preference! I hope this wmv player mac can help me to accomplish this.
