Then, they will also have to do some writing while taking core classes such as English and literature. For some professors, it's not about how creative or engaging an essay is that's important. In their eyes, it's more important to be grammatically correct. ESL courses can give people the education they need to write clearly and correctly so that they can excel in their endeavor to attain a higher education. ESL courses give people the foundation and education they need to properly communicate in English-speaking societies.
