Travel & Tourism
Kuala Lumpur has the highest population of any town in Malaysia with a population of roughly 1.6 million folk. There are several global political, sporting, and cultural events held in the town. Kuala Lumpur is also host to the tallest twin buildings worldwide, and it's the speediest growing area inside Malaysia, where low costs, cultural variety, and shopping variety abound. Tourism plays a massive role in Malaysian society, and there's a good spread of social events and scenes to explore. The Golden Triangle is amongst the central locations for night excitement. You will find places such as Rum Jungle, Luna Bar, Espanda, Zouk, and the Thai Club. The Suria KLCC is the largest shopping destination, which is found right between the Twin Towers. Merdeka Square is a main draw in Kuala Lumpur, and it features a few buildings that might keep you busy for days. Also called Autonomy Square, the flagpole here venerates the country of Malaysia gaining autonomy from UK rule in 1957. It lives in the middle of the town, and it's close to Gombak Stream, China City, Central Market, Nationwide History Museum, and the Royal Selangor Club. The Merdeka Square is also base for many open air concerts, marathons, cricket matches, and carnivals. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, also close to Merdeka Square, reflects the cultural background of Malaysia by showing off its beautiful design. The Nation's History Museum is an once in a life experience, featuring a formidable collection of artifacts and dioramas that you don't see at any other museum. Numerous sides of Malaysian history are pictured here in many varied ways, and the museum is an attraction you should see when you visit Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra lives on the ground floor of the second tower of the Petronas Twin Towers. There are many performances and also free recitals every now and then also. Special performances for kids are held on diverse weekends and Family Fun Day Concerts. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra is first class all of the way, and the pipe organ is a wonderful sight and sound. The Bukit Bintang boasts the highest density of shopping centers in the town and some incredible design composed of a mixture of colonial, Asian, and Malay Islamic conglomerations. The Lake Gardens is also a superb spot to go and visit, and it's found near to the Malaysia Parliament Building. Here you will find orchids, butterflies, many bird species, and stunning hibiscus flowers. It is really a fantastic sight. Visit Petaling Street, Countrywide Place and Monument, Kuala Lumpur Tower, and more. The destinations are unlimited, and you're going to be in astonishment as you see the wonderful thing about this excellent town. Are you hunting for spiritual destinations? Take time out of your day to tour Jamek Mosque and Batu Caves.
