Do you know that your insomnia is curable? Well, in fact, almost all sleeping disorders can be cured! These include sleep apnea, insomnia, etc. Today in this article, I am going to give you 2 techniques that you can use for curing of insomnia. These cures of insomnia are highly effective as they have been proven by many insomniacs. Let’s cut the talk shall we? So what exactly are the 2 techniques to getting a better sleep? The two techniques and cure of insomnia are as follow: Cure of insomnia method #1: Sleep restriction therapy While dealing with insomnia, some people may spend many hours in bed trying to sleep. However, after you hear this technique that I am going to provide you, you will NEVER again need to spend many hours in bed trying to sleep while you can’t. This technique requires a program limits how much time they are allowed to be in bed. As their sleeping pattern improves, they will be permitted extra time. Sleep restriction therapy begins by keeping a sleep diary for 2 weeks. Divide the amount of time that you sleep by the time in bed – the answer is your sleep efficiency number. So, if you spend 6 hours in bed, but you only sleep 4 hours, then your sleep efficiency number is 62.5 percent. Your goal should be to take actions that will increase your number to 85-90 percent. Here’s what you can do to improve your sleep efficiency number. Start by going to bed 15 minutes later than usual. Until an 85 percent sleep efficiency is reached, decreased the amount of time in bed by 15 minutes every week. However, do not reduce the time in bed to fewer than 5 hours. When a 90 percent efficiency is reached, start increasing the time in bed by 15 minutes every week. This method works if you want to find out how long do you need to sleep to get a refreshing sleep. Cure of insomnia method #2: Medications This is the normal way of curing insomnia from the doctors. In order to break your pattern of chronic insomnia, your doctor may prescribe a short course of low-dose benzodiazepine sleeping pills. While you are taking these pills, your doctor may wish to monitor you carefully, and possibly lower the dose slowly. However, please take note that when certain sleeping medications are suddenly stopped, they may trigger a few nights of insomnia and produce side effects such as nausea, nightmares, dizziness, and headaches. Not to mention, these medications should never, EVER be mixed with alcohol! Okay the above listed are two of the most effective cure of insomnia that you need for curing your insomnia.
