Retaining walls have always been known for its decorative purposes and its ability to make structures more durable. It adds a certain appeal to the exterior of the structure, but once it accumulates dirt, it starts to look less appealing. In case soap is not enough, you may use bleach, then leave it to dry. • If the wall has an area with greenery that you want to protect, then you may want to cover it with plastic to shield it from the chemicals that you will use. • In case the stain becomes too problematic, then that’s the only time you should use hydrochloric acid. Since it is harsh on some materials, you must follow the directions provided on the bottle or better yet, ask a professional cleaner to do the job for you, as the acid is hazardous. Cleaning retaining walls should be fairly easy when the stains that need to be removed have not rooted deeply yet. Remember that power washers are the best tool that helps in removing stains, as well as powerful chemicals and cleaners that has the ability to remove the stains effectively. Proceed with caution, so as to prevent accidents that may arise out of using these chemicals.
