Wolves are extremely protective animals, and normally create territories far larger than they need to stay alive; in order to guarantee a steady supply of prey. Territory size depends largely on the amount of prey available: in regions with a great quantity of prey, the territories of occupant wolf packs are lesser. They have a greatly organized social organization allowing it to enjoy most cooperation when hunting, corresponding and protecting territory. These social animals help on their chosen prey. A single wolf is proficient of catching and killing a deer without help but when chasing as a pack it preys on much larger animals like as deer, elk, and moose. Wolves are not mainly fast, with a top speed of about 45km/h. They rely as an alternative on its hearing and sense of smell to perceive prey.
