Weather your an athlete or not you can help yourself by proper hydration to prevent heat related problems. No matter if you are working out or out in the sun you need to drink water. Water helps prevent heat illness If you are wearing heavy clothes because of work or exercise you need to drink water to replace fluids loss through sweat. You need to make sure you take a water break. It is very important to make sure you drink plenty of fluids especially if it is hot out and you are in the sun. If you are working out make sure there are hydration stations near by so you can get a drink. If you are with a group you can get a drink when you are watching the others work out. Make sure you know where to refill your water bottle and where you can take a break. Many time when you feel sick when you are sweating allot it is because you need to hydrate. Headaches can be caused by not drinking enough fluids.
