You should not believe it as such myths lead to graver dental problems. On the contrary, the dentists suggest that people who floss at least once every day are less prone to gum diseases. This is because the flossing action removes food particles which get accumulated in the inter-dental spaces. • Visiting a dentist is extremely scary Actually, most of us think of visiting the dentist only when we suffer from intense dental problems. In turn, the dentist either advises tooth extraction which is associated with Bleeding Gums or recommends pain killers which make us weak! Thus, we associate visit to a dentist with a traumatic experience. But this is a myth as regular visit to the dentist prevents dental problems.
