Making Money Online The first thing you need to do is stop dreaming and take action. You will never succeed if you sit there and just think about it. There are a few things you have to have in place to make it work to your advantage. Nothing is FREE, but it also doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money either. This is where having a list that you can send your promotions to be a huge advantage for you. Yes it will cost you some money to build your list at first and it does cost to have a company mail out your promotions, but the cost is minimal compared to paid traffic. If you have a web site and you are not paying for traffic nor have a list to send to your site, then you are just floating in cyberspace. It’s like being in exile. Getting your site ranked to page one in any search engine takes a long time and a lot of money. There is so much competition out there and the ones ranking high in the search engines have paid to be there. Not to mention they have been there for a long time and have the money to be there. Starting an online business takes work and dedication. A desire to succeed, motivation and most of all the time you put into it. It’s like applying for a job and everyone knows you must start from the ground up, entry levels sort of speak. So at this point you must be wondering, how am I going to be able to make money online? It’s simple, start from ground up. 1st step: Find a niche. This is something you’d like to promote. Pick something that has a high conversion rate or something that is a big seller online. Leave it to the professionals they know what they are doing and can provide results a lot quicker for you. It does cost a membership fee but let me tell you it’s well worth the cost in the beginning. Once you have a little experience in how all this works and you have the time you can begin to develop a larger list on your own. 3rd Step: Auto Responders. An auto responder is your mailman, rain or shine he or she delivers. This is just as important to your online business as your list is. They work together side by side to make sure you are achieving your goals and expectations. Together they are driving traffic to your web site your offer or promotion. This step is optional when promoting an affiliate offer to your list but it is better to send people to your own site to promote offers because this gives you credibility and a sense of professionalism. If you start driving people to your affiliate offers via your web site, Googles analytic counts how many times your site gets visitors and starts to rank you higher in the search engines. This is just good business and will be very beneficial to you further down the road as your business starts to grow. 5th Step: Email Marketing. It is and always has been the best way to advertise any product or service. It has been around since the beginning and will remain until the end. It’s more cost effective than paid traffic hands down. Paying for advertising works and gets the word out, but when you are just starting out who has the money for that? If you are rich or have an extra couple of grand sitting in your pocket for advertising…great. If you are just starting out with a shoe string budget this is the most effective way and will be for a very long time to come. Even when you start to become successful. So after you complete these steps mentioned above and you see your list growing, you’ll be able to start promoting your offers.
