Mr Larry W Reaugh president & CEO of American Manganese Incprovides short to medium term corporate activity for the companyand advancing its 100% owned Artillery Peak Manganese Project. Mr Reaugh said that "In the immediate term, the NI 43-101 compliantTechnical Report is being compiled and edited, and will be filedwith the regulators on SEDAR by the end of June 2012. The companywill address recommendations made in the Technical Report and pacethe advancement of the project so as to maximize the value of itsavailable cash." He added that "Over the medium term, the company remains focused onbecoming a low cost producer of electrolytic manganese metal. Aspart of our goal to becoming a strategic provider of manganese inNorth America, I am pleased to be speaking at the StrategicMinerals Conference in Washington DC." The one day Strategic Minerals Conference on June 6th 2012 willbring together representatives from the public, private andgovernment sectors to discuss the growing demand for a strategicminerals reserve in North America. Mr Larry W Reaugh will represent the Company on an afternoon paneldiscussion regarding the private sector perspective and the path toproduction. He said that "We are pleased to be participating in aconference which stresses the need for more North Americanproduction of critical metals. Manganese has been considered acritical and strategic metal by the US government for nearly 100years, yet China controls 98% of the world's supply and productionand there is currently no operating manganese mines in NorthAmerica. Our flagship property, Artillery Peak, was once used forthe critical build-up of North American manganese reserves duringthe 1950's, and today we are seeing a similar situation whereglobal demand of manganese in the steel and clean tech industriesis justifying the revival of a North American producer." He added that "I am also pleased to report that the Companycontinues to cultivate strategic partnering relationships with EMMend users and emerging rechargeable battery end users. In thesevolatile financial markets, this is a long arduous process mutualdue diligence.
