It is a favorite among hunters because the draw can be held in place longer, the shot is typically faster and, due to the sights, more accurate. This bow is very similar to a modern rifle. The final design, the crossbow, is great for those who are disabled or are not strong enough to pull the bow back to its full strength. In order to shoot the crossbow, you need to draw the cord and lock it in place before pulling the trigger.
