Conventional wisdom says that landscaping companies, seed companies and synthetic turf companies will not get along with one another because synthetic turf companies take away business from them but that is not the case with hybrid turf. Hybrid turf companies need landscaping companies and their knowledge in the landscaping business. Our turf can be used in various landscaping projects such as sidewalk projects, in front of commercial buildings, backyards etc. The people that visited the booth were pleasantly surprised that there could be a product like this. EZ Hybrid Turf brought a live sample that displayed the live hybridization process. The attendees were able to feel the temperature difference between real grass and synthetic grass. The real grass was much cooler on the temperature side of things than the synthetic turf. The synthetic turf however did bring its own positives to the table such as providing a stable base to the surface all the while protecting the soil and crown of the grass so that the foundation is not ruined. “Our turf is constructed on a honeycomb foundation which allows natural grass to grow and combine with the synthetic. This system creates a hybrid turf that covers the weak points of both natural grass and synthetic grass. By going hybrid, you will have a much healthier lawn to use, maintain, and therefore last you a long time,” said David Chu, EZ Hybrid Turf Sales Manager. The GIE+EXPOis the largest showcase for everything green and equipment. There were over 750 exhibits inside the Kentucky Exposition Center and in the turf area outside. There were numerous educational sessions, supplier meetings, product introductions and demonstrations as well.
