Perhaps, the only true thing that I can do, would be to confess Jesus Christ as my Lord & Saviour. Everything else would be in vain. True, I can entertain myself with worldly activities, but, I feel like I am wasting my time. Jesus has always lived the best possible life, has nothing he wants for himself, and can not improve his own life, because it is perfect already. So, I am sitting here wondering what I can do to give myself a better life to live. And, I can think of nothing! There is nothing that I can do to ensure that I live forever, having an eternal life. Other, than having faith in Jesus to help me. Jesus is living the perfect life, and want us also to be living a better life, than we are. Jesus, has no needs for his own life, but, rather, has our needs in mind. We are not living the perfect life, because we are sinners. Jesus spends his time finding ways for us to be living the better life that He is. What, greater Love has a person, that He lay down his own life, for us? Yes, Jesus died our punishment for sin, so that we could be living a better life, and gives us his life to live! It was a Good, perhaps, the best plan, that God sacrifice His only Son, Jesus, one person to die, for an entire human race, so that all who believe in Jesus, would live forever with him in paradise! Yes, God has our best interests in mind. God is a Loving God! He understands what we do, even though we are wrong, in some of the things we do, He understands us, for God is greater, than, even the entire human race combined! God does not want for even one person to go to hell! Hell is a very unpleasant place to be living. But, unfortunately, there are those who, reject what Jesus has done for them, or who, have chosen, to serve the devil, as their god, and end up living in hell one day! It's the life that a person lives after their earthly life is over that's important. This life, after death, lasts forever. The life, we currently live on the earth, is only a short time. 70 or 80 years of living on the earth, is only a short time, compared to eternity, living after death, and the earthly life has ended! It is important to plan well for what your life will be like for an eternity! We mostly spend time planning our daily lives. But, plans for our life for an eternity, are beyond our scope! God's plan for our life is perfect! Hopefully, at the end of time, as many people, as possible, will be living with Jesus. Jesus wants the best for us. It is our own freewill, that will prevent some people, from living with Jesus. Our freewill, gives us the choice between, living with God, or the devil. If we love God, we will choose him, and accept Jesus and what he has done for us! Yes, there is nothing that I can do to earn salvation. I can not do anything, which will give myself, an eternal life of happiness. Jesus has already taken care of all our needs! Have we accepted this? Or, do we consider other ways of life, as good? What is the good thing, for a person living on the earth to do? Making money? Or, why not perhaps, preaching the Gospel of Jesus? This would have a slightly more important usage for my time spent on the earth. Perhaps, in a small way, other people could start thinking about Jesus, and in their hearts, accept him, receive his help, and be living his life one day. Yes, the rewards for what we do on the earth, seem, to be rewarded after our physical life on the earth is over! Can I plan for what my life will be for eternity? I can not plan that well. I am just a sinner, needing help from Jesus! Jesus can handle all of my needs, and God is happy, with the person who has chosen Jesus as Lord! So, I sit here typing away, thinking, there is nothing that I can do to give myself a better life to live, other than, trusting in Jesus to plan my life out for me, and let me enjoy living his life! For their is only one God, only one Jesus, and all else is a false god! God sent his only Son to hell, just to give us all, a better life to live. God, fulfilled, his justice & laws, by having the penalty for sin, placed upon his son Jesus, and Jesus accepted, his life to suffer the consequences of sin, for our behalf. Thank God for what He has done for you! My prayers go with you..
