If you don’t know anyone just Google your niche and write down the top ten “gurus” in your niche. You will often find contact information on their websites. Alternatively go to whois.net and type in their name, the site will give you the URL of their website. If not protected, you can also get their address and phone number on this site. Send them regular mail with your business proposal. People are more likely to open snail mail. Just don’t stalk people please, that is just creepy. After you established a relationship, you can ask them if they would be interested in a joint venture. You should give full access of your product to your partner for free. Let them know what your product’s conversion rates are, and also mention any other “famous” people in your niche that you have done partnerships with previously. Make it easy for them to say yes: • Give them higher commissions than normal • Give them tons of good promotional tools • Consider a personalized domain name for them • Offer to promote them in return • Add their product to your “thank you” page. (Their affiliate link) The more you do for them , the harder it will be to say no. If you are having a big launch, you can put together a competition for all your JV partners. Many people are competitive and will promote harder just to be number 1, and not just for the money. Follow up regularly with your partners, to see if they need help. You can also have a webinar. Interview a “guru” and promote your product. It will establish them even more as an expert in the niche. Ask the guru to send invites to his list. You can do the same and advertise on social media. Split the profit from the webinar with the expert afterwards. You can repeat this with other experts. Once you have worked with someone successfully you can promote each others products on your squeeze pages, “thank you” pages or follow up mails. This will send highly qualified traffic to both your offers. You can do this with multiple partners. You can also hire a JV manager. They will go out and find you JV partners. You pay them a percentage of the sales, so if you don’t sell anything, you don’t pay anything. It is in their best interest to find you the best partners. Once you have a good product, you can hand everything over to your JV manager and you can concentrate on your next product.
