Since its release in 2011, more than 1.6 billion hours of online gameplay have been witnessed in Modern Warfare 3. The franchise has also expanded and spawned a line of action figures (designed by Plan-B Toys), Mega bloks sets (Mega Brands), a card game (Upper Deck), as well as a comic book mini-series that was published by WildStorm.
