Oriental: The notes from this family are more sensual and opulent. They are extracted from spices like mandarin, orange, pepper, rosemary and others. Because of its strong smell, the perfumes that are made from this family use the spice essence as the top note and add floral scents as the heart note to balance the fragrance. Woody: This family extracts the essence from the natural elements like earth, leaves, woods, bamboo, sandalwood, moss and so on. They are also combined with other families to create a distinct note such as woody-oriental and woody-floral fragrance. Fresh: Fresh family is a combination of mini families such as Citrus, Aqua, Green, Fruity and Herbal. And other families use the fresh scents along with their fragrance to bring out special notes. Different brands have their own set of infusions done in varying concentrations that makes their perfumes unique. And this can be very specifically seen in Mont Blanc perfumes.
