Constance/Germany, 12/02/2014 – Among the numerous reports on crisis regions, those that remain particularly etched in our memory are the images of the critically ill people in West Africa who are infected with Ebola and of the suffering of the Syrian refugees. For that reason, the employees of the software company combit in Constance have decided to help. The fight against the Ebola virus is costly, and the Syrian health care system has collapsed. So, many of them have spontaneously agreed to donate a vacation day. The donated vacation days were converted into money, and the total amount was ultimately doubled by combit. Thanks to the charity of combit employees, the amount now totals 10,000 euros. The donation goes to the non-profit humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders. Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders is a private medical relief organization. It provides medical assistance in war zones and natural disaster areas throughout the world to those in need, regardless of race, religion, or political beliefs. The organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999. About combit: For over 25 years, the software manufacturer combit has enjoyed success in the areas of reporting, CRM and contact management in both the German and international markets with its developer component List & Label and its business applications combit Relationship Manager and address manager. The company from Constance is also well-positioned for the future. This year, combit launched its Report Server and released a new version of List & Label in the fall.
