Trouble with dogs If there are round patches of dried grass on your lawn, there are chances you are dealing with dog urine that has a high concentration of nitrogen that burns grass. When you notice where your dog has urinated, try washing it out immediately using a bucket of water. However, the best solution is to train your dog to use a particular area of the yard that cannot be noticed easily or where you have placed some mulch. During simmer, scrape off the dead grass from the spot and loosen the soil before watering it so the soil can be moist. Grub invasion Is your lawn showing signs of wilted or dried out patches that are easy to pull off? This may be grub invasion. The best solution is to try and prune tree branches so as to let in more sunlight; grass will not just grow in an area that has no sunlight. You may also have to over-seed those areas during fall because the conditions are right for seed germination.
