This type of cleaning also removes foul smell or odor and even kills bacteria and dust mites.
Foam extraction technique- Commonly known as carpet shampooing, foam extraction is a popular process for carpet cleaning. Here a foam-based cleaning agent is applied on the carpets and rubbed into the pile with a motor powered brush. This leads in releasing of soil from the carpet fibers. Then, once the carpet and foam are fully dry, the residue and dirt are vacuumed away from the carpets.
Dry compound extraction process- In this process dry compounds are sprinkled onto the carpet and the dirt is dislodged by working the compound into the fibers with a manual or motorized brush. It is also called dry cleaning at times. In addition, sometimes the carpet surface is lightly misted with a corresponding cleaning solution to help release grime easily. This process is followed by removing the dirt that has been absorbed by the compound with a powerful vacuum. The compounds and dry formulas can be organic, can be some others blend of natural and man-made compounds and even sometimes polymeric.
Bonnet cleaning procedure- Bonnet cleaning is actually a wet process. In this method a cleaning solution is mixed with carbonated water and applied in the form of mist after which a rotating bumper or bonnet machine is brought into act to spread the cleaner. Following this an absorbent pad is used to extract the soil and dirt. The dirty absorbent pad is repeatedly replaced with a clean one, until there is no more dirt seen on the pad.
