If you require magnification on your mirror then you will find a suitable mirror. There are round mirrors, oval, star shapes, large wall mirrors, antique mirrors and even heated mirrors. Position The placement of a wall mirror can also impact the kind of mirror you choose. Most often you will be looking for a mirror to fit a particular wall in your home. Mirrors can be used to make smaller spaces appear larger, so the size of mirror you choose will also be affected by the space you intend to hang it. In general a large wall can take large wall mirror. If you are looking for a bathroom mirror then you will need a mirror to suit damp conditions, but if you are looking for a bedroom or hallway mirror you can choose something much more ornamental in style. Style If the mirror is to be placed in an existing room, then you may have to take into account the current interior design of that room. Is there a theme or color scheme to be coordinated with? When considering existing decor, you will find many ranges of mirrors with frames that can be used to fit in with your home style, or alternatively choosing a frame less wall mirror with a textural effect such as etching around the edge can fit in with many types of decor. The shape and size of the mirror you choose can also be used to make the mirror a design feature if you desire.
