Santa Cristina Hermitage & Beach This is the perfect place to visit after you have been to the Santa Clotilde Gardens. In the car park at the top of the cliff there is an attractive 14th century hermitage, and from here it is only a short shady walk down to the beautiful sheltered beach, which, because of the calm waters, is ideal for snorkeling. If you want to see it at its most tranquil though, head down early in the morning, before the crowds. Otherwise, it is buzzing with activity. Restaurants, cafes, and fast food stalls line the beach, and if you are in the mood for some water sports, this is the place to be. Fenals Beach A nice compromise, this beach is the second-largest in Lloret de Mar, but because of its location, is much less crowded than the main beach and isn’t overlooked by as many apartment buildings. Sheltered by a hill and set apart from the town centre, the beach generally feels more laid back. There are options for water sports and boat trips, and plenty of restaurants to choose from, too. Cala Boadella A delightful little cove, this spot is perfect for the discerning beach goer, who craves peace and tranquillity as well as crystal-clear water and soft sand. It is wise to be aware that one end of the 250m beach is frequented by naturists while the other is more family-orientated, so you can take your pick. A charming little restaurant serves good value meals, but otherwise, this beach is all yours.
