Earthmoving and construction equipment Earthmoving and construction equipment are essential to any mining or quarry operation. This equipment is often used in construction, turf, and excavation work. Examples of earthmoving and construction equipment include: backhoes, bulldozers, and dumpers. A backhoe loader is used for a wide range of jobs including excavating or breaking asphalt.
