Climbing Although there are no true mountains on Lanzarote, there are plenty of boulders which can present a challenging one or two-hour climb. The Los Bolas de Órzola is the closest thing the island has to a true summit and is a good outing for the more experienced climber. Zip Lining The fast-paced, action-packed adventure of zip lining through the landscape is still a relatively new leisure activity on the island, but there are now several areas offering zip lining and abseiling down from the boulders and volcanoes to ground level. 4x4 Safari If you’d rather take in the landscape from the ground but still want to enjoy speed and heart-pumping action, then try a Jeep safari across the off-road volcanic terrain of the beautiful Lanzarote countryside.
