Introduction People tend to rationalize certain beliefs or values regardless if those beliefs or values are successful for a nation in a political sense. Now they may deem them successful to various degrees but data and history conflict with their conclusions. But for some, their rationalization turns to utter and bitter hatred toward their neighbor or political leader who may not agree with all their politics. Sometimes it turns violent, a property being damaged, thief taking place, people getting hurt, even though the owners of the property do not have anything to do with their anger about the political change. Others present a peaceful protest which sometimes turns into name calling and yelling. Not all protesting turns out bad, but when it comes to certain parties, it does to a certain degree get very brutal! President Donald Trump Nobody in America has ever experienced an election year like there was in 2016. Not even close! For the first time in my lifetime, a non-politician won a national election! It wasn’t that too long ago when most people thought that Donald Trump had very little chance to no chance at all of winning the election. However, it was thought he was the easiest candidate for Hillary Clinton to beat and some democrats voted for him in the primaries but not in the general election! Other than that, his candidacy was opposed not only the Democratic establishment but by members of the Republican establishment! Even some local conservative talk-show hosts around the country one of which is in my local community where I grew up, who would normally vote for the Republican establishment, he told his listeners that he was voting for Hillary Clinton and wanted her to win and was fairly confident she would win because of what the mass media was publishing. Often times, he would remind his listeners about how Trump had no chance of winning! If you didn’t know who he was, you might have assumed this was a CNN commentator or from MSNBC or even Megyn Kelly on Fox! One of the leaders of the Republican establishment, Paul Ryan, who is admired by many Republicans as a so-called true conservative distance himself by not campaigning for Trump in Wisconsin and not talking about Trump in general rather he was just wanted to talk about the Republican party’s agenda. Later on right before the election, Ryan claimed the reason why he didn’t campaign with Donald Trump was because he was not in Wisconsin at the time and he was working on keeping Republicans in power. Otherwise, he would have, Ryan concluded. So why didn’t he make an effort to be in Wisconsin at the same time or at least talk more positive things about the Donald Trump agenda for making America great again while in other states? I suspect Ryan wanted someone else to win the GOP nomination and had a hard time coming to grips with the fact that he may have to support Donald Trump for President. I also suspect he thought Trump was going to loose believing in the same media who said he had no chance of winning and so Ryan was working on a wall to oppose Hillary if she got elected. Opposition towards Donald Trump was coming from all different directions including information from leaked e-mails which came from the Hillary Clinton campaign that revealed CNN colluded with Hillary’s staff (for the debates) in their quest to try and sabotage Trump’s run for President. Ask yourself, why would the press go to such great lengths to help a candidate who they supposedly thought had practically no chance of losing? I believe, the likes of CNN and most of the other mainstream media did, in fact, think Trump had more of a chance than what they wanted the public to believe! They had hyped up Donald Trump’s chances of not winning in order to help Hillary! Not only that but the liberal media went to great lengths to downplay and cover-up criminal activities which Mrs. Clinton was involved which was directing classified material to her home server when she was Secretary of State. The FBI investigated her not once but twice, and many e-mails were deleted on purpose however the FBI did not conclude she should be prosecuted because of a supposed “intent” clause in the law. Meaning, the FBI claimed there was no “intent” on her part to use the classified information unlawfully! Perhaps the rest of us could do the same as long as we don’t use the classified content unlawfully? I think not! Redirecting classified information to one’s home without authorization no matter who they are is clearly breaking the law! The opposition didn’t stop there, rappers, pop artists, Hollywood actors, all coming out to show their support for Hillary Clinton by attacking Donald Trump! Religious leaders like the Pope came out with his opposition towards Trump encouraging Catholics to not vote for him because of the immigration issue. The election of Donald Trump was nothing short of an obvious miracle from God who rules over all! Because God has placed him in a position of power doesn’t mean that Donald Trump is a very moral person who is leading a Christian life! Quite the contrary, I myself stated he was making a circus out of the debates because of his temperament while using brash wording to defend himself and attacking his opposition. but historically there have been examples were these type of leaders who have done very well despite various weaknesses! America will be heading in a new direction President-Elect Donald Trump is a CEO, he spent 66 million dollars on his campaign versus Hillary Clinton who spent 1.2 billion. This goes to show you that money cannot buy the White House! However, you are still required to spend many millions to make a serious run for President or any office on a national level like Congress or the Senate! Given the fact that Donald Trump is a CEO, America is going to shift into a more business framework. Already Trump is already trying to make a deal that would reduce the cost of the new F-35 fighter plane by pitting one defensive contractor over another. It is possible that Trump may decide to cancel the deal and have Super Hornets built instead for a cheaper price if he can’t workout of a deal with Lockheed. This is something we have never seen. Yes, we have seen businesses bid for government contracts but they were never required to such a degree to stay within a budget framework like they will have to under the Trump administration! Jobs, jobs and more jobs will be the focus for the Trump administration. Reducing the corporate tax which is the highest in the world along with a tax penalty if a company decides to produce their products in another country, canceling trade treaties like NFTA. Unlike Hillary’s energy policies which basically is the same as the Obama administration which promotes more of a dependence on OPEC and less production in the United States. The Keystone Pipeline will finish its fourth phase. This will flood the market more causing oil prices to remain low while eliminating expensive transportation like trucks and trains which pollute more than running through a pipeline. This will create some high paying jobs as well, mainly from union workers. Trump’s energy policy will affect oil drilling along with fracking while oil prices remain modest which is great for the consumer! NATO is going to encounter some difficulties with the new Trump administration mainly because of its defense spending! The United States funds a lot of NATO’s defensive budget but this will change under Trump as he has been very critical for NATO not spending enough money on defense. Using taxpayers money to influence policy in the middle east will change as well. And with the US striving to be more oil independent, this will hurt OPEC countries who rely heavily on income from oil and gas. It will be interesting to see how these countries cope with prolonging cheap oil prices. Have you taken a look at your 401K? If you have one, you will notice it has gone up quite a bit since the election and Wallstreet is looking to crack the 20,000 barrier. This is because of Trump pro-business stance. Lowering taxes, reducing regulations, and making trade deals more favorable towards the United States! This is just a tiny portion on what we can expect under the new administration. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out in the next four to perhaps eight years.
