 Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia - Australian swimwear designer and manufacturer, Desert Sky, has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for its new ground-breaking, patented bikini line ‘Forever DRY Swimwear’, designed and engineered to dry within seconds of leaving the water. The Kickstarter campaign aims to garner widespread support and financial backing to manufacture, market and distribute the line to a mass audience. Desert Sky has created a unique swimwear line that doesn’t soak your clothes, wet your car seats or give you a rash from being wet or damp all day. Desert Sky swimwear is designed and engineered to eliminate these issues and dry within seconds of leaving the water. The Company’s stated goal has been to create swimwear that is both sexy and practical, leaving the wearer feeling confident and comfortable. “We’ve grown up by the beach and one thing that always impacts our day is the decision to hang around in wet swimwear or the need to have a change of clothes on hand, especially in the cooler seasons like spring and autumn or even after a quick dip before work,” says project creator and Company co-founder Lucas Eyre.“And because they never get wet, they also never go see through. Thanks to the specialized finish they are also highly resistant to stains, odors and dirt.” The Company uses materials that comply with the international OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and are free from perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS). All of the Company’s bikinis are water, stain and odor resistant. The Company has also created a system that allows a customer to mix and match styles, colors and sizes letting them pick the perfect combination.
