Nevertheless, this extension is made of hair wefts with clips attached to the insides. They have a systematic approach that allows one clip to tend to 2 inches of hair or four clips with eight inches of hair. It is easy to install and very affordable – so if you’re going for a night on the town or going about your daily activities, clip-ins can come in handy. Weaving/Sew-In This one of the more popular hair extensions around and it is done making a small horizontal cornrow in the client’s head, then the weft or bundle of hair is sewn to that cornrow using a c-shaped needle. Given the fact that there are glues or other chemicals involved in the process, it has a chance of holding even longer when compared to other extensions. Hot fusion The hot fusion extension is actually bundles of hair that have been pre-tipped and can be connected to existing hair using a heating tool. It is derived from protein-based keratin polymer that is clear, so there is no worry about it matching your hair color. If your natural hair is weak and you need hair extensions for thin hair, you should be careful about using hot fusion, because it has a tendency to do damage over time.
