Do You Know the Most Powerful Healing Foods?

There is a huge variety of natural healing foods for almost any health condition. Unfortunately, many don't know, and some don't care. For the wrong reason, many people are relying more on drug medicine or the wrong dietary advice. Since back in the 1970s and 80s we've been told to have no salt, red meat, eggs, butter, oils: "Wrong"! Not having them has actually caused most of the problems. It urged us to eat more carbohydrates, pasta, potatoes, rice, corn; all these foods that can lead to many unhealthy things. At the same time take-away and junk food raised its ugly head and obesity was the first sign with high blood pressure, heart disease and type-2 diabetes to follow. Low fat diets don't protect against heart attacks and stroke, they cause them. The human body evolves on natural products from animals as well as the leafy greens variety, vegetables and fruits for almost a million years.

Food can determine the outcome of your health!

What will work for you are healing foods, natural foods, lifestyle changes; small changes can work wonders when it comes to healing of many things. Pharmaceutical health isn't exactly raining down on us, by grabbing your script and hoping for the best without too many side effects. The other issue is the food we buy. We shouldn't have to live with these sorts of contaminants from our food industries. This is almost like a difficult high-wire act to avoid and stay clear of things that influence our health. That means we all should think about the consequences of our actions as consumers, being careful in what we are buying and what choices we are willing to make. The choices you make can determine the outcome of your overall health.

The foods that can heal you far better is no longer fiction. It is fact and confirmed from many studies. Old and out of date information can often be the wrong outcome of choices we make. Example: One of those out of date information were that black coffee or any coffee is bad and unhealthy. The good things and benefits of coffee for your health outweigh the negatives. If you drink coffee regularly you have more health benefits than the non-drinker. As research shows in a large-scale review indicates that the more coffee you drink the less is the risk of developing type-2 diabetes. Actually, increasing coffee consumption three or more cups per day leads to a reduction in type-2 diabetes risk. Because of the high antioxidant content in coffee it has many other benefits as well. There is a substance in coffee by the name of chlorogenic acid and is one of the powerful antioxidants that protects the retina in the eye. This acid is a natural chemical that may keep the eyesight from deteriorating, preventing blindness and glaucoma. The only time when a cup of coffee becomes unhealthy is when it's loaded up with sugars, creams, flavors, syrups etc.

Our body needs protein. Protein is an important part of our diet and has many even thousands of different functions such as formation of enzymes, cell creation and blood proteins. It is important having proteins included in to your diet that can come from animal and plant sources. Broccoli is known as a most essential vegetable for its health benefits and nutrition including its cancer prevention properties. The broccoli compound sulforaphane activates the immune system defenders in the body. According to research sulforaphane from broccoli and cruciferous vegetables selectively destroys cancer cells. Eating cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, bok choy, sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard greens, kale, radish, turnips, kohlrabi, and Brussels sprouts will give your body the best health benefits, also found effective to treat common form of leukemia. Inside every stalk of broccoli and every floret of cauliflower is a substance most powerful in preventing and treating cancer more effective than drugs are capable of. Brussels sprouts have its own powers and certain ingredients to prevent many cancers. Studies have found that the compounds glucosinolates develop a cancer fighting enzyme in your body that can destroy cancer cells. Brussels sprouts are rich in sulphur nutrients which work in favor of your body's detoxification system. A most important point to remember: Cooking or over-cooking any of these vegetables destroys a large percentage of the crucial anti-cancer compound sulforaphane. A diet emphasizing vegetables and fruits, healthy fats and unprocessed ingredients will improve your health, maintain vitality and add longevity.
