 Rasdale Stamp Company, a family owned and operated stamp dealer and auction house in the Chicago area, has announced their participation as a dealer at the West Suburban Stamp Club’s annual Plymouth Stamp Show. The upcoming stamp show will take place on April 29th and April 30th, 2017 at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Westland, Michigan. The Plymouth Stamp Show will include a stamp exhibition, stamp dealers bourse, meetings, seminars and an awards banquet that will all take place at the Hellenic Cultural Center, a modern, air-conditioned and handicap accessible building. The show is sanctioned by the American Philatelic Society (APS) as a World Series of Philately exhibition. The APS designates shows to be part of the World Series of Philately that meet certain standards for quality and significance; there are several awards given out by the American Philatelic Society at each World Series of Philately event. Another popular feature of the Plymouth Show is the free appraisals offered at the show. The West Suburban Stamp Club staffs a table at the event with experienced stamp collector volunteers who endeavor to provide information to visitors about stamps and stamp collections they may not know much about.
