What started out as an Italian American’s dream of owning his own business is now celebrating a decade serving customers in central New Jersey. Mike Masotti, who had previously worked as an electrician in Italy, immigrated to the United States when he was 24 years old. He took night courses to learn English and earn his GED high school equivalency diploma while finishing a four-year apprenticeship in three years. He launched MM Electric, LLC after he received his electrical license in 2007. MM Electric has grown to five employees and three trucks as the company serves customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Masotti thanks his customers and his hard-working employees, crediting them for his success.
