Getting a Tattoo? How to Ease Male Organ Pain

Health,Fitness
When a man chooses to get a tattoo anywhere on the body, it’s usually a given that he will experience some level of pain. When a man chooses to get a manhood tattoo, he can rest assured that he will be dealing with a great deal of male organ pain before the ink is complete. Fortunately, excellent member care before and after the tattooing can help ensure he doesn’t suffer any more than necessary for the body art.

Get prepared for the tattoo

A man can start by getting ready for what’s going to happen when he gets a manhood tattoo. First, he needs to get past some psychological issues. When he gets tattooed, the tattoo artist will need to move things around down there to ensure the proper placement. This means the artist will be handling a guy’s equipment - and that tattoo artist might be a guy. If a man has a problem with another man handling his junk in the course of creating a tattoo, maybe he’s not ready to get the ink just yet.

Another point to ponder is the needle itself. A tattoo needle pierces the skin many times during the procedure, and each one of those instances brings the potential for male organ pain. To test his reactions, a man can try two things: He can get a tattoo in another area, one that is less sensitive, and see how he handles the pain. If it works out well for him, he can then try the ‘needle test.’ This involves placing a very thin needle into the skin of the member to see how it feels. Sometimes a guy can handle this just fine, but other times it’s enough male organ pain to make a man look for an alternative to member ink.

Taking care of the member skin

When a man chooses a manhood tattoo, he is making a commitment to follow every instruction given by his tattoo artist. Here’s a basic run-down of what a man can do, either by instruction or on his own, to ensure the manhood tattoo doesn’t lead to long term male organ pain or other issues.

1. Keep things very clean. A man will want to go into the tattoo parlor with a member that is as clean as possible. Though the artist will also disinfect the area, a little extra attention will never hurt, and will provide some peace of mind as well.

2. Don’t employ alcohol or numbing creams. Though it might be tempting to use these things to build up some courage, alcohol is a definite no-no. In fact, most reputable tattoo parlors will not tattoo someone who appears to be even slightly drunk. And when it comes to numbing creams, these might increase the risk of infection - ask a tattoo professional before using any of these concoctions.

3. Don’t use it. A man might be tempted to play around with a partner to show off the ink, but there will be plenty of time for that in the future. When the tattoo is healing, no sensual activity is allowed, even if it’s self-pleasuring.

4. Do some research. Make sure the tattoo artist has a long history of great tattoos in the portfolio, and that the work area is entirely clean and sterilized. Ensure only new needles are used. Though most tattoo parlors are quite clean in this regard, it never hurts to double-check everything.

After the manhood tattoo has done the initial healing, a man might be confronted with dry member skin, peeling and other issues. To combat this, he should reach for a specially formulated member health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) . In addition to Shea butter and vitamin E to fight the dryness, a man should look for a crème that contains alpha lipoic acid, which fights free radicals that can lead to signs of early on aging, as well as L-carnitine, which might help decrease scarring.
