Jeff Porter, President of Porter Pictures, recently closed a television broadcast deal with “Discovery Latin America” for the new documentary film “Indivisible”. |
Directed by first time director Hilary Linder, “Indivisible” is a very passionate, heartfelt film about the fight to reunite families separated by deportation. Discovery Latin America is a division of Discovery Communications. Discovery Networks Latin America and Iberia oversee Discovery Communications operations both on cable and satellite television in Latin America. This deal will allow Discovery to broadcast “Indivisible” to their Latin American audience, in the North and South America.
“Indivisible is an amazingly well directed film that really hits the pulse on an ongoing issue, dealing with the immigration debate currently happening in America. I am very happy to be working with Discovery in showcasing this documentary film to the world,” states Jeff Porter.
"Indivisible" is about the real people at the heart of our nation's immigration debate. The film's main characters were small children when their parents brought them to the United States in search of a better life; they were teenagers when their mothers, fathers, and siblings were deported. Today, they are known as Dreamers—immigrants who grew up and live in the United States without documentation. "Indivisible" takes place at a pivotal moment in their lives, as they fight for a pathway to citizenship and a chance to reunite with their loved ones.
