Whitehouse Event Crockery recently moved into a new warehouse at the Sharston Industrial Estate. A Manchester based supplier of glassware and crockery for the events and private hire industry has more than doubled its team, creating five new jobs, after a busy start to the year. Whitehouse Event Crockery, which recently moved into a new 10,000 sqft warehouse at the Sharston Industrial Estate, has added to its office team due to the growing demand for its services in the high class events market across the UK and Ireland. The business has also increased its fleet of delivery vans to meet its countrywide commitments, as well as increasing its range of new products and is now able to provide equipment for events of up to 1,500 people. It has even added a few celebrity weddings to its list of recent events. Among those added to the team since the end of last year is Laura Poole who joins Whitehouse as office manager at its north west office, to help organise the increasing order commitments and logistics for events across the country, including several high profile events in London. Started seven years ago by owner Marc Gough, Whitehouse has become an established name in the events industry and the team are now preparing for an even busier period in the coming months after seeing an increase in orders for wedding parties and other large-scale events. Marc, who gained 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry before starting the business, said: “Last year was one of the busiest we have experienced as a business and we have been able to sustain that level activity while continually growing our client base. “From smaller dinner parties, to weddings and large corporate events, everyone at Whitehouse has worked hard for the past few years to help grow this business into what it is now, and we are looking forward to providing the best service for our clients going forward with our expanded team and new depots across the UK and Europe.” CONTACT:
