Remote Shooting via Wi-Fi with the Camera Connect App

Business,Electronics
For a bigger display image use horizontal orientation and double-tap to get 5x magnification. Connect app on your smart device after launching the Camera and to enable remote shooting you can tap.

Try displaying it in the horizontal orientation if you feel that the image is too small. The display is automatically switched to the horizontal orientation by turning your smart device by 90°, which as compared to vertically-oriented image is larger. Of course, manually you can also magnify the image with a camera with camera trap.

For example, simply by double-tapping the point you want to focus you can magnify the display by 5 times if you need to achieve pinpoint focus on a small subject.

You will be able to get a larger view of the image you want to capture by turning your smart device by 90°. Note that with the orientation the position of the settings button and shutter button will also change.

From the smart device, change camera settings. Using the Camera Connect app is that including the aperture value, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure compensation and the like from the smart device you can make changes to the camera setting which one of the advantages of remote is shooting.

For example, according to changes in the surrounding conditions this feature allows you to alter the shutter speed or raise the ISO speed during a long shoot where you have to wait for the right photo opportunity and set up the camera.

Each time there is no need for you to move to the camera, and for when you are lying in wait for the subject to appear is non-disruptive nature is very useful, such as in wildlife photography. With the shooting mode Settings that are adjustable vary.

To establish focus use the dedicated AF button. When the Camera Connect app is in the default state only the shutter button is displayed. However, to display the AF button you can change the settings, which when you want to capture the decisive moment quickly by fixing the focus on a specific point come in handy. Tap the AF button and in the focused state slide it toward the shutter button to do so.

To display the AF button followed by tapping Show AF button that appears on the settings screen at the top right corner of the Camera Connect screen tap the Settings button. By sliding it toward the shutter button you can capture a photo after tapping the AF button to establish the focus. For pinpoint focusing use manual focus.

During remote shooting in remote camera manual focus is also supported, and as when you are taking a macro shot this comes in handy such. However, to AF instead of MF first set the focus mode switch on the lens or camera before shooting with manual focus from the Camera Connect app. Also, note that if Continuous AF in the still shooting mode or Movie Servo MF cannot be enabled.

In the movie shooting mode AF is set to “Enable”. So in order to photograph with MF you need to change these settings.

MF button must be tapped. Tap the arrows that appear to adjust the focus position. Greater displacement of the focusing lens elements is indicated by a larger number of arrows indicates, i.e., by a greater degree the focus will move in or out. Press the MF button again to go back to the unfocused, previous state.
