Benidorm is probably the most famous sunshine destination for English holidaymakers in Spain. Why? The Poniente is bordered by a beautiful flowing promenade that stretches to the far ends of the beach. Malpas Malpas beach is the wildcard. Off the beaten track, it sits close to the harbour. Although much smaller than Levante or Poniente and boasting fewer luxuries, Malpas is all the quieter for it. It’s ideal for those looking to escape the noise and fury of elsewhere, and settle down with a good book. How to Get There Travelling to Benidorm has never been easier. Airports all over the UK fly regularly and directly to Alicante, the nearest international airport. And the trip from Alicante to Benidorm is only a 45 minute drive.
