We all know how easy it is to add a few pounds by mistake, or have a rough month at the end of which you wake up with an extra kilo or two. Getting the extra weight is the easy part. The real challenge comes when we want to try to get rid of it. Far easier said than done. I’ve had my share of diets throughout the years, I know how it is to try to cut back on food and mostly eat nothing at all. I know how it is to exercise every day and eat less and still see no results. Hence, I decided that the best solution for weight loss is balance. A combination of a healthy diet (lots of veggies and fruits) and exercise. However, don’t overdo either of them because through exercise you burn enough calories so you don’t have to starve yourself. Balance. Also, as a nice tip to follow, I made a list with the best teas that can aid you in your journey towards fat loss: - Green tea
You probably have tried at least once green tea since it’s super famous for various reasons. What you might have not known is that it’s the most effective tea when it comes to burning fat. Green tea in combination with a workout session can help you lose and additional two more pounds compared to the ones who only follow a workout routine with no green tea. And let’s be honest. Green tea actually tastes nice. - Oolong tea
This one fluctuates somewhere between green and black tea when it comes to the amount of antioxidants and color. It’s a traditional Chinese tea and it’s also famous under the name of “black dragon”. It’s great because it fastens your metabolism, hence enhancing the fat burning process. - White tea
White tea is famous not only because it can help you lose weight but also due to the studies that have been made which clearly show that it improves oral health and can even help combat certain cancer cells. Also, it does not only help breakdown the fat in the body but also helps preventing the formation of new fat cells. - Mint tea
My personal favorite one. I’ve always been in love with the flavor mint has and when transformed into tea, wonderful! However, mint tea can also help reduce the feeling of hunger and suppress your appetite. Studies have shown that even sniffing mint or adding a drop or two of mint oil to your pillow before sleep might have the same effect. - The African red tea
You might also know it under the name of rooibos tea, comes from South Africa and it’s a caffeine free tea. First of all, it’s low in calories, it has a natural sweat taste that will help you crave no more other sweets. The secret however lies in the recipe that you use when making red tea. A good friend of mine, Liz, even became a best-seller author for writing the book in which she explain how she found the ancient recipe for the perfect African red tea. You might be interested in her version. All in all, the conclusion is much similar to the one we had at the beginning. Balance is what it takes to achieve the weight you have been dreaming of, you can add to this a healthy diet, without any form of starvation and you can even use the helping tips to improve your fat burning process. Tea can become your best ally when it comes to burning fat and mostly, burning fat soon!
