Grape Harvest Festival In September, La Festa des Vermar (the Grape Harvest Festival) is celebrated in Binissalem, and is ideal for those wanting to truly immerse themselves in the native traditions. The locals of this wine-growing town enjoy the vast grape harvest in a rather unusual way – by pelting each other with the fruits! If you’re joining in, be sure to wear old clothes or alternatively stand well back to avoid the mess. Olive Oil Fair The Feria del Aceite (Olive Oil Fair) takes place in November, in the small town of Caimari. Find out how olives are harvested in the fields, discover traditional olive-pressing methods and learn how oil has been made over the years. The charming streets are lined with stalls selling various Mallorcan products and locals singing songs of the harvest.
