Hockey If your family enjoy more competitive sports, perhaps this is the perfect option for you – ice hockey is similar to regular hockey, but requires balance (and bravery!). Mouth guards and other protective equipment is a must, however. This is great team sport to play if you’re travelling as a large group with family and friends. Many resorts will offer equipment and lessons for both children and adults, so if you’re keen to give it a go, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a rental company or snowboard school. Who knows, you could have an expert in the family… Ice Skating Ice skating is one of the most well-known winter activities and can be enjoyed all over the world. If you’re heading off to a wintery resort with the little ones, chances are the opportunity will arise to get out on the ice.
