Among business ethics, business promise plays a vital role. Since later this symbolizes a company’s brand. And can positively or negatively affect the business. Hence Christian Business Owners need to be a promise keeper to there employee, client or customers. Companies promise for this, that and the other thing about their products or services and then fall woefully short of delivering on them…all without seeming to understand that this will negatively affect their business. After all, they can just make some more promises in the future! Let’s look at few well kept brand promises: American Bank: “The Bank of Yes” Coca-Cola: “To inspire moments of optimism and uplift.” Abbott Laboratories: “A Promise for Life” Virgin: “To be genuine, fun, contemporary, and different in everything we do at a reasonable price.” Like wise, being Christian CEOs & Business Owners we need to follow few things: 1. Build Trust: Build trust in the market, such that they should respect you and all what you do. And to be able to do that, you must be an excellent conversationalist. i.e. you have to let know the benefit your offer in short and brief . After you have accomplished in that, the next step is to execute the promise. Remember not to promise too much, since the customers will lose trust and it can take a long time to build trust again. 2. Communication: Christian Business Owners should communicate with there customers. Both with the current and the new customers. The old customers are valuable to your business, because they have already accepted your online business ideas and want more. So you need to communicate well with them and keep there purchase details safe. 3. Sell Benefits: Advertising is the great idea to sell benefits you offer to customers. And that should be in one advertising slogan. This way you can communicate your message to the customers. 4. Promise Builds A Brand: Christian CEOs should live to there promise. A promise should be short, catchy and easy to remember, the better. And that requires a good communication. 5. Respond, To Your Promise: Try to avoid to promise too much or even to give an image of a too high promise. All communication must be true, but well told. The real actions are what will determine how well you can succeed.
