If you have been researching about the various methods for cleaning your roof then you have arrived at the right place. As here we are going to discuss about the top options that you can use for roof cleaning to ensure that your roof remains free from any sort of stain that tend to affect its appeal. Majority of such stains are caused by black algae, which is a form of living organism that feeds on the roof, this organism usually settles itself on the heavy loads of the roof and then slowly spreads across the different parts. Here are a few methods that can be used for proper cleaning of the roof and keep your property looking great. Eco-Friendly Low Pressure Technique This is one of the most popular methods to clean the roof where the usage of toxic chemicals like phosphates, chlorine bleach and other chemicals is completely prohibited. This is an eco-friendly method to clean the roof which utilizes low pressure rinsing system that goes safe on fiberglass singles and asphalt. The benefits of using low pressure roof cleaning is that the results that you can get from it are instant and something that will stay with you for a prolonged period of time. The technicians that use this form of cleaning first get on the roof, inspect the type of stain that is caused on the roof and then use the appropriate cleaning method to get rid of the stain completely. Chlorine Bleach Mixtures There are some contractors who use chlorine bleach mixture like Sodium Hypochlorite and Trisodium phosphate. This mixture is applied at least 4-5 times on the stain so that it vanishes completely. The re-application process is done carefully as there is no rinsing involved in this type of roof cleaning. They are inexpensive and easy to use too. Splash and Dash Cleaning Method This is one of the most complicated methods that are used by contractors. For this, the contractors usually apply a chemical and wait for one-two weeks. These are those chemicals that do not need pressure roof cleaning or rinsing and gets washed away with time along with the stain. It is quite cheap when compared to the other two methods mentioned on the list. The only demerit is that the results take time and other than that the chemicals that are used can turn out to be harmful when it comes in contact with you, or others like small children or pet in the house. Check online for various contractors that are available in your area to do this job and check with them the best option that suits your requirements. Keep your house roof clean!
