Figures from Spain’s central statistics unit continue to show increasing numbers of properties being sold in Spain. Residential property sales in the country rose by an impressive 13.2% between September 2015 and September 2016, with 34,931 sales recorded during the latter month. This improvement upon last year’s figures shows a continuing trend in the popularity of Spanish property. Indeed, year-on-year increases have been observed in 28 of the last 30 months. This resurgence of the Spanish property market has been ongoing for two and half years, and represents a healthy recovery from the long-lasting slump that began in 2007.
